After a year of competing in the sport of Triathlon and about 15 races under my belt, I came to Stephe to improve my run time. As an athlete with a diverse sports background ranging from Ice Hockey to NCAA Men's Swimming, I wasn't naive to training or competition. However, running was not a strength of mine. I would constantly get shin splints and occasional knee pains from running. I experienced tight hamstrings and felt like I could not get a full range of motion in my hips and run gait because of these muscle restrictions. After about a week of therapy my running pace dropped from a 9:30 mile pace to about 7:15 per mile at the same effort and heart rate because of the increase in my run stride. Dropping over 2 minutes per mile on my run has greatly improved my race results thanks to Stephe Worley.
